While this entire incident is tragic beyond words, I have been particularly affected and effected by the death of little Christina. Perhaps it's the mother in me than can only sympathize with her parents. You just don't bury your children. It's not supposed to work that way. I have been affected by the death of this little girl much in the way I was affected by the death of Princess Diana back in 1996, as tears flow freely whenever I think of the family of Christina-Taylor Green. I am sad for all of the victims who were injured and died on that day. No Soul's life is less worthy of mourning when their lives are cut short.
But I focus on little Christina in particular for another reason, too.
Remember Neda? (Has anyone actually forgotten?) Neda Agha-Soltan became The Face of a Movement for Iranian citizens after she was senselessly gunned-down while walking the streets in protest over the results of an apparent fraudulent re-election of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad over the popular, moderate Mir Hossein Mousavi. Her death literally was caught on video. With all the security cameras around shopping centers I imagine little Christina's death may have been caught on tape too. We don't tend to show those kinds of things in America - that's not my point anyway.
My point is what if Christina-Taylor Jones could become the face of a movement here in America? What movement might that be? How about STOP THE HATEFUL BLAME-GAME, predominantly being done by the FAR LEFT, that has not stopped since this tragedy began. How about the Far Left "Progressive Democrats" set aside their hypocritical, formulaic agenda aside just this once FOR CHRISTINA, a child born, a soul given by God, to America on one of the most tragic days in her history?
As long as these people push their blame-game illogical liberal agenda, the people who died and were injured in Tuscon that day remain faceless, nameless tools being used to push a message that basically says if you're not with us, well you mght as well have been the one who pulled the trigger.
Would these liberal pushtards even LISTEN to the words of Christina's father after his daughter's death? He said the last thing she would want is for more freedoms to be taken away. In the time of a parent's worst nightmare come true - the demise of the life they brought into this world.
Incidentally, we all found out during the Iranian citizen slaughter that Neda meant "voice," "calling," or "divine message." What does Christina mean? "Follower of Christ."
