Making Bad History, Courtesy of US Attorney General Eric Holder

Though I have not been overly pleased with Senator Graham's decisions and comments recently, he is not my state senator and I have not contacted him on anything specific.  However, in light of today's proceedings held by the Senate Judiciary Committee today I have had a mind-change.

Attorney General Eric Holder made a decision to try 5 jihad losers in criminal court for their suspected roles in the 9-11 terrorist attacks.  Criminal court.  That this makes about as much sense as trying animals in court with their own appointed attorneys (that would be Cass Sunstein).

At a time that it is truly significant to take a stance, Graham actually grows a pair and is as Senatorial in his demeanor as one could ever hope for. Senator Graham's question to Holder, "Can you give me a case in  United States' history where an enemy combatant caught on a battlefield was tried in civilian court?" is exceptionally appropriate.  The silence between it and Holder's answer is priceless.

Thank you, Senator Graham
