As Tea Party 2nd Anniversary Approaches
The Left Openly Plays by Their Own Rulebook

The Second Anniversary of the Tea Party Movement is approaching - February 27th - when spontaneous rallies sprung up after Rick Santelli's famous rant: "The government is promoting bad behavior!... President Obama, Are You Listening?...We're thinking of having an American Tea Party.." Mr. Santelli was referring to the coming bailouts of the horrid sub-prime lending crisis.
Basically, what the Tea Party Movement in its various forms, want the following for America:

Core Values - as posted on TeaPartyPatriots.org

  • Fiscal Responsibility
  • Constitutionally Limited Government
  • Free Markets
Seems pretty simple to me. These are not issues that bring on violence and hatred. However, as rallies became more frequent and larger, this grass-roots movement grew across the country. While the "Main Stream Media" ignored us at first, we became increasingly berated by the Left: by very left-leaning Democrats, left leaning citizens, and by - to our surprise - very active and open-practicing Socialists in our governments.  We were called "racist," "biggots," "stupid," "ignorant," "tebaggers, "crazy," "conspiracy theorists" - and far worse.  It was baffling at first.  We were just trying to wake the country up. We were scared - What on earth was happening to our country.  Admittedly, for a lot of us, it was a wake-up call. We had put trust in age-old institutions while we lived our lives.  That trust had been horrifically abused. A call to action was heard - the proverbial sleeping giant began to awaken.

What, or rather Whom, had we just put into High Office who    was surrounding himself with "Czars" wholly unconstitutional when it comes to authority but of very checkered and radical pasts.  One, who was "fired" in the middle of the night, was a self-admitted card-carrying Communist named Van Jones, author of "STORM". We were ridiculed, chided, and painted in a  very negative light.

Our new grass-roots conservatives had some pre-required reading. It's called "Liberty & Tyranny" by Mark Levin.  Too many of us hadn't read it.
If you still haven't read it - it's never too late!

So then, we learned these Leftists, who are also Statists, had a playbook called "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky. For review, here they are:
1. Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.2. Never go outside the expertise of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear and retreat.... [and] the collapse of communication.
3. Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)
4. Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.
5. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
6. A good tactic is one your people enjoy.
7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time.
8. Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.
9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
10. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.
11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside... every positive has its negative.
12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
What's presently interesting is that we can now engage in hindsight and see that all the actions the Left was accusing the Tea Party protesters of, they are now actively demonstrating in their labor-demands temper tantrums now in places like Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, and other states that do not have "Right To Work" legislation. (Texas is a Right-to Work state, thank God.) The President of the United States himself has used these Alinski tactics very openly, and many examples can be cited. These tactics at their very root are evil.

I'd like to present one particular video that demonstrates that the evil being practiced by these people.  This man, a Union protester, hits Tabitha Hale, from Freedom Works, who was filming and interviewing the Wisconsin protesters.  He hit her. He HIT her. HE HIT A WOMAN.

Here is another example of a protester who has a particular issue with someone's faith:

And from Michelle Malkin, who has phenomenally followed the corruption between the White House and the unions like SEIU, CWA and the AFL-CIO, a quote from an elected representative (with tax-payers' salary!):
A Democratic Congressman from Massachusetts is raising the stakes in the nation’s fight over the future of public employee unions, saying emails aren’t enough to show support and that it is time to “get a little bloody.”“I’m proud to be here with people who understand that it’s more than just sending an email to get you going. Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary,” Rep. Mike Capuano (D-Ma.) told a crowd in Boston on Tuesday rallying in solidarity for Wisconsin union members. …This is not Capuano’s first brush with violent rhetoric. Last month Capuano said, “Politicians, I think are too bland today. I don’t know what they believe in. Nothing wrong with throwing a coffee cup at someone if you’re doing it for human rights.”
Republican Governors Association:
"The New Majority"
My point is that eventually, I am hopeful anyway, that these people will implode on themselves.  I urge the Governors of these states to stand strong in defending their spending cuts, which include these union people just putting a little more of their own money into their own future, just like the rest of us do.  Governor Walker, Governor Kasich, along with Governor Christie of New Jersey, all need the support of American conservatives everywhere to encourage them to stay the course.

These Governors, along with the rest of the country's Republican Governors who demonstrably understand fiscal responsibility all know that the game of fiscal lying is over.  They're the strong ones for the future of America.  Much stronger than the Clown-in-Chief we have now.

Who Will Be John Galt?
Atlas Shrugged, The Film

Appropriately, the film Atlas Shrugged (Part 1) debuts in theaters on April 15th.
I can't wait! I'm not a big patron of Hollywood films as of late. I can't stand it when movies have a passive/aggressive liberal agenda built into stupid scripts.

Minor ADD Moment: I do want to take a line or two here to recommend a film that is currently available on DVD, Netflix, (and On Demand in some areas) called "Every Day", starring Helen Hunt and Liev Schreiber. Please check it out. You won't be disappointed.)

Following a clip of the film, there is also great interview on BTR's The Stage Right Show with Producer Harmon Kaslow. Just click on the logo to listen.

Atlas Shrugged (Part 1)directed by Paul Johansson, is based on the novel by Ayn Rand; screenplay by John Aglialoro. The film stars Edi Gathegi, Taylor Schilling and Paul Johansson.

Isaiah 1:4 "Ah sinful nation..."

"... a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward."
Unlike so many in power in government, I believe we are a Christian nation.  God is watching.

The DC Analysis:
Three takeaways from Obama admin’s willingness to support Israel condemnation at the United Nations
By Jamie Weinstein - The Daily Caller 12:47 AM 02/21/2011
Excerpt:
Last week at the United Nations Security Council, America reluctantly vetoed a resolution attacking Israeli settlement expansion as illegal and an obstacle to peace that was pushed by Arab countries. But the American veto only came after the Palestinians rejected a compromise “presidential statement” that America was willing to support which would have lambasted Israeli settlements as illegitimate.
America’s incomprehensible handling of the situation highlighted once again the Obama administration’s amateurish foreign policy. What follows are three major takeaways from the whole affair.
Takeaway No. 1: Obama showed a willingness to attack Israel at the U.N.
Many supporters of Israel were disturbed when Foreign Policy magazine reported last week that the United States had apparently informed Arab governments about its willingness to support a “compromise” Security Council “presidential statement” declaring that the Council “does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity, which is a serious obstacle to the peace process.”
This was alarming not because of the content of the statement — however misguided — but because of the forum. Having disagreements over policy with our closest and most steadfast ally in the Middle East is one thing. After all, it couldn’t be clearer that the Obama administration happens to think Israeli settlements are responsible for, well, nearly all the problems in the world. But expressing a willingness to side against Israel at one of the world’s most blatantly anti-Israel organizations is revolting.
There is a time and a place to express American disagreement with a strong ally like Israel, most especially in private, leader to leader. But just as you don’t go to a Klu Klux Klan meeting to discuss problems in the black community, America shouldn’t being joining in the Israel bashing that routinely occurs at the United Nations.
Takeaway No. 2: Kissing up to unsavory regimes while kicking friends fails again
There have been many examples of the Obama administration kicking traditional American allies with the hope of winning favor from unsavory regimes that aren’t traditional friends of the U.S. Recently, for instance, it was reported that the Obama administration provided British nuclear secrets to the Russians in order to win support for the START treaty.
But this strategy has been a miserable failure and last week’s U.N. situation once again demonstrated why. Even though the Obama administration ultimately vetoed the resolution, they alienated Israel by showing a willingness to bash them at the United Nations – something America rarely does at the disgustingly anti-Israel international body as a matter of decency and self-respect. Plus, even though the U.S vetoed the resolution, American U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice did deliver a shockingly harsh condemnation of the Jewish state at the Security Council meeting.
Rice said, in part, “Our opposition to the resolution before this Council today should therefore not be misunderstood to mean we support settlement activity. On the contrary, we reject in the strongest terms the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity. For more than four decades, Israeli settlement activity in territories occupied in 1967 has undermined Israel’s security and corroded hopes for peace and stability in the region. Continued settlement activity violates Israel’s international commitments, devastates trust between the parties, and threatens the prospects for peace.”
Nowhere in the full statement was there any mention of four decades of Arab rejectionism, belligerence and terrorism as an obstacle to peace – not to mention Arab indoctrination of Jew hatred.
At the same time, despite showing a willingness to side with the Israel’s enemies to attack Israel at the U.N. and despite delivering a harsh diatribe against Israel at the Security Council meeting, the U.S. still didn’t win any points with Arab regimes or the Arab street because it was ultimately seen as publicly vetoing the resolution.
Such ineptitude – and the failure to convince the Palestinians to go with the American compromise resolution – demonstrates American diplomatic weakness and the Obama administration’s utter foreign policy incompetence.
Takeaway No. 3: Obama fiddles with inconsequential resolution while the Middle East burns
Finally, what is perhaps most stunning of all is the wasted time and energy the Obama administration expended on this issue when the Middle East was burning. While revolutions are upending the old order in the Middle East, President Obama and his administration spent an outlandish amount of time negotiating a resolution that was totally meaningless in practice.
As Stephen Hayes said on the Fox News Panel, (paraphrasing) "There are protests all over the Middle East and Obama's biggest concern is some apartment buildings in Israel?"

Unions vs. Real Working Class:
a different perspective

Will there be a temper tantrum in YOUR state?

Working Class Hero by John Lennon
As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still fucking peasents as far as I can see,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.
If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

Joey The Tank Engine
Your Tax Dollars "Right On Track!"

The world is on fire, people are being slaughtered on our southern border, and all Washington DC wants to do is play with their high-speed choo-choos.

You just can't make this stuff up.

No, No! You have it all wrong! The Engineer rides in the CABOOSE!

2 + 2 = 5
Here's How

It appears our new Mr. Gibbs, Jay Carney, didn't listen to his math teachers.  In all likelihood, he never took a basic economics course because over the last three decades the Progressives and the Department of Education have erased the availability to learn sensible economic principles.
Here's how I taught my boys when they were younger. Use shiny dollar coins, it makes it more fun. Adults can learn from this too!

ADD Moment: I did not particularly enjoy math while in school. Algebra was cool. But Geometry sucked, and so I cut class. Everyone who knows me knows I don't do math in my head - it's a visual-learning style thing. But I love word problems, and was grateful that while my sons were in elementary school that I could help them with that kind of math homework.
Ok, so back to our Math Lesson. Politically speaking, it does in fact have two different answers:
Mr. Smith has $2.00 in his pocket because he just cashed his $2.00 paycheck at the bank. Mr. Smith goes to his mailbox and gets Bar tab bill. It says he owes Mr. Liquor, the owner of  The Bar, $3.00.  So Mr. Smith goes to his friend Mr. Jones and says, "Hey, I need to borrow a dollar. Can you help me?" Mr. Jones says, "Sure! But be sure to pay it back, because I have to buy my kid  a new pair of shoes at the end of the week."
Question: How much money does Mr. Smith now have?
Liberal Progressive Answer: Mr. Smith has $5.00! (So you see, two plus two CAN equal five!)
Responsible Conservative Answer: Mr. Smith has -$1.00, because Mr. Smith isn't in denial about his Bar Tab
Extra Credit: Who is more fiscally irresponsible? Mr.Smith, Mr. Jones, or Mr. Liquor?
This lesson actually teaches on multiple points, but for the purposes of this post, I needed to make the title of this post add up, so to speak.

The REAL Green Movement
This is what a Freedom Movement Looks Like

http://iowntheworld.com
The Iranian people have been at this since the false election of President Mahmud Ahmadinejad in June 15, 2009.
Pharoah Obama remains totally ambivalent towards this, not that the US wants him to do anything about it anyway. The reason it's a real movement is that there is no leader.
For all intents and purposes, since June 2009, the Where is My Vote?" Movement is grass roots.

The marchers in the video below are chanting "Death, Death to Khamanei" - And they are putting their lives at risk by doing so. I pray they achieve the freedom they are seeking.

The Plain Truth about the Patriot Act

Mr. Obama, Tear Down That دیوار
(wall)

Almost two years ago, millions of Iranians were evidently disenfranchised when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won a landslide re-election, declared just two hours after voting was done, against Mir Hossein Mousavi, who was supported by over 80% of the people. Millions of American people were supporting the youth movement, who were pleading for freedom from oppression rather than "Death to America", the weekly Friday chant since 1979.  Imam Obama,  however, said very little at the time. Historically, he said nothing.

Now that the world has seen Egypt boot out President Hosni Mubarak after 18 days and nights of protesting (the Iranians protested for over 10 months) with gads of support, nigh - cheerleading! from Pharoah Obama the Egyption Revolution became a contagion.  Needless to say, this has Iran fired up again.  And Imam Obama is silent.  But it's only day three.  Three days into Egypt and we only got a statement from The Veep.

Does this News Speak have anything to do with geography?  Culturally, Egyptians are Arabs; Iranians are Persians.  There's a difference (ask Iraq!) Egypt is on the African Continent, Iran is not.  (See map) Both terms Persia and Iran are used interchangeably. However, Iran (meaning "Land of the Aryans") is the name officially used for political context.

Pharoah/Imam Obama is missing his potential  will miss this "tear down this wall" moment.

Educate Yourself: The Coming Insurrection
by Anonymous

It's Sickening: God Help Us All

Occam's Razor: A Frightening Equation

Can what's happening worldwide really be this simple?

Food shortages + huge unemployment + over-bearing government + underlying agitators (eg, radical groups, economic destruction, complicit media) = violent protests by unhappy people.

Let's look at America for a moment:

What makes America different from the rest of the world?  These are semi-rhetorical questions, but the formula above certain looks like there is a contrived effort to actually finish-off The Republic of the United States of America as we know it.  The delimma is, do enough Americans believe that we want to remain exceptional? That we are a nation of laws, not of men, and that we fundamentally believe that as individuals directly connected to our Creator, we can and do rule ourselves?

I am not a collectivist. Really, I'd rather be knitting right now.

Can it happen here?
